I went to St Paul’s with my sketchbook during the funeral service of Baroness Thatcher yesterday. It was interesting to listen and look at the people there, and what they were saying. A very diverse crowd to say the least. Here are some of them:

Security and staff:
Old Street is proving to be a great spot for cyclist style watching. Today, it was Wendy James (ish) with a hoodie/Helmet combo, hot pants, fishnets, jogging shoes and fluro pink hi-vis socks pulled to their limits. She was also cycling in a very low gear which meant her wee legs were going like the clappers.
I cycled behind WonderWoman through Old Street today. The cars had to drive on the other side of the road to avoid touching her billowing cape, and I thought she had decent control given her enormous platforms and the deep potholes which the council have dug out especially to keep us all on our toes. Well done WonderWoman.
Kids like owning stuff. They especially like owning stuff if someone else already has it.
Forget the tea leaves. Judging from the pattern made by bleach on my BEAUTIFUL cashmere cardigan this morning whilst cleaning the loo (I know, I am very glamorous, cleaning the loo in cashmere) I think I am definitely in for a good year.
For those of you who live in Hackney there is a kids easter egg hunt at this Sunday’s Chatsworth Road Market. Here is one of the eggs I have done for the it. They are all based on Hackney’s creature residents.
